Odroid HC2 No LED

Post by xtertristl »

Hello I've had the HC2 up and running for years as my NAS and today when I tried to connect to it I noticed it wasn't running. I started with some basic troubleshooting disconnecting and reconnecting the PSU to but unfortunately that didn't seem to fix the issue. I can see that the PSU's power light is on so it's receiving power. It might be the connection cable from the PSU to HC2 that has failed or the board that has failed but I don't have the tools here in Korea to check.

1) Is there a user Manual for it I can't find one for the HC2
2)Do you have any options for servicing the board? (I live in Korea) or would I be better suited on replacing it.

If you have a DMM and can read schematics, try measuring voltages on 12Volt and 5Volt power rails.

Our warranty period is limited at 8 weeks

We can try repairing your board.
But, the repairing cost will be much higher than buying a new one because the BGA components replacement cost is near $100.

Thanks for the quick reply and the support. It's as I expected but thought I would ask.
