Cloudshell TTY1 screen resolution

Unread postby Cyph3r » Fri Jan 06, 2017 3:44 pm

Hello I am running Debian and have my cloudshell LCD screen attached but when I run commands to the /dev/tty1 the resolution doesn't match for the ouput:

If I check my fbset the output is the follow:
Code: Select all
mode "320x240"
    geometry 320 240 320 240 16
    timings 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    nonstd 1
    rgba 5/11,6/5,5/0,0/0
endmode

How can I resolve this issue?

what resolution do you expect? 320x240 is the highest resolution the LCD display supports and the output looks about right for that resolution.

When I run DietPi Cloudshell the resolution on the script is too big yet that script is meant for the Cloudshell LCD

I think you might need a smaller font set. Right?

Just realized it was the font that needed to be changed. Thank you odroid

I remember there were a few different font sets for the framebuffer when I configured Kernel.
But I can't recall what I did.
I hope other users can help you.
