You have TWO choices:
1) flash a firmware (or just the configuration) to didable the timeout.
2) disable the timeout at boot time.

to disable the timeout you can use:

sdparm $dev -p po -c STANDBY_Z

to set the timeout:

sdparm $dev -p po -s SZCT=9000 -s STANDBY_Z=1

the number (9000) represents the timeout in seconds*10, so 9000 = 15 minutes.
