Exagear from what I know is a dead project (one I was also using for many years) and therefore hasn't been updated in a very long time, Debian 9 guest is also out of support I would use neither nowadays.
It's also highly likely that Debian 9 -> Debian 11 is not really compatible when it comes to syscalls.
If you need to run an x86 application I would rather use box86 instead as it should be OS independent and is in active development.
If something is broken or not working it's easier to contact box86 developer and ask to try to find a solution.
