Saving changes to hot key binds within Retroarch

Unread post by SBC RetroFox » Sun Jan 14, 2018 7:29 pm

Alright guys?

Been at this for a while now, setup;

XU4 with Batocera 5.11 OS

I am trying to change the hot key binds from within Retroarch (game loaded up)

I can clear the mappings with 'start' so I do that, then just map the 5 or 6 functions I actually want.

Everytime I even go back to the Retroarch main menu (not back to game) the mappings go back to default.

How on earth do you get it to save?

I have even changed the buttons from within a few config files with no success.

Please help :mrgreen:

You would get an answer faster if you post your question on the Batocera forum.

Thanks for the suggestion but I wouldn't, that forum is about as lively as a cemetery, I've come to my own conclusion and believe they are read only and get overwritten by default every start up
