undefined symbol: _ZTI18QOpenGLTimeMonitor

Post by jrmagnetics »

This error usually occurs because Plasma Mobile uses qt5-es2-* packages and PySide2 from pip was compiled with non es2 Qt libraries. To resolve this error, you need to use PySide2 compiled with qt5-es2-* packages.

https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_for_Python/Considerations

Arises when trying to run ubertooth-specan-ui and other applications.

Compiling with qt5-es2-* packages is a seriously bad idea
Can this be fixed or do I need to change to another OS?
