I'd say intel beats xu4 in raw performance.

Thanks...BTW it will have 16GB, not 4GB, so even better 
Concerning emulation, will it play PS2 games (PCSX2), or does the lack of Nvideo/ATI card make that not feasible?

I cam't say about intel, but the XU4 has just 2G of RAM, not 4.

There's no comparison, the i5 blows it out the water. It will also run Dolphin, PCSX2 and supports OpenGL.
That being said, the XU4 is excellent compared to other ARM SoC's.
