Hi,
i want to hide the boot splash screen and add small animation instead.
Can I achieve this by editing boot.ini

On Ubuntu? or on Android?
If you use Ubuntu, you need to install and set up plymouth.
I've not tried boot splash using plymouth on XU4 the latest version yet
but, the following threads can be helpful.
Could you refer to them?

Ubuntu..... I have managed to install a new plymouth and it is able to edit the configuration. Still in the boot splash the changes I did are not visible. Same boot splash screen appears all the time.

#memeka........ after executing
Code: Select all
sudo dpkg-reconfigure plymouth
I received warning:
Code: Select all

Still I was not able to change the plymouth from text.plymouth to default.plymouth (which is the graphical theme)
