    Hello hexdump

What is the password and username for this images ? They do not seem to run stable on my U3, one out of ten boots is successful and after a minute or so it hangs completely, only the image from February is able to boot, not that from January, do you have a stable version for it ?

edit: I found the username and password and the crashes where caused by a defective HDMI cable ! Strange, took me some hours to find it, now it's working

Are you able to get linux-headers for it? Via apt update or building from source?

(Need to install fuse & fuse-utils which would need fuse-module which requires headers.)

    Thanks in advance

I have tried the debian image (200823-01 odroid_u3-armv7l-debian.img.gz) on my old Odroid U3 (rev 0.2) and it works quite well as headless server.
However when I connect a monitor are things not working as expected.
I do see the login screen of lightdm on my monitor but when I login in the screen goes black and (after some time) I just have a blinking cursor in the left upper corner.

When I switch terminal (alt -Fx) then I do see remainders of a dialogue box and login prompt, just if the black screen is on top. Furthermore is there a second Xorg process spawned which cannot grasp the screen. I get an (EE) No devices detected. and (EE) no screens found fatal error of that 2nd process (Xorg.1.log). The fur

So I do at this moment not know if it is a configuration issue of X with lightdm or if it is a driver issue or if I just have a bad micro HDMI cable.

Have others this problem as well?

    And how to debug this?

    Hello hansan,
I tried the debian image and I have the same problem.
Anyhow I will use it like server, so I will use only ssh without UI.
I loggend in by ssh and changed the default "target" by systemd from graphical to server.
    Have a nice day
