How to turn on!

How to turn your U3 on!

1. You must have an eMMC or SD-card with proper OS installation.
2. Connect power supply to the DC jack and your board will start auto boot.

Red LED must be always On when you connect the PSU(Power Supply Unit)
Blue LED must be dimm lighting when the boot loader is running.
Blue LED must be solid lighting when the kernel image is loaded.
Blue LED must be blinking when the kernel is running.

Some monitors/TVs have the HDMI leakage current which blocks the auto booting.
In this case, press and hold the power button for 0.5~1 second and release it.

If your PCB revision is 0.5, there is no HDMI leakage issue.

Is the HDMI leakage current indicated by a dimm lighting red LED when PSU is not plugged in?

Hi,

I just got one ODROID-u3 and already have a ODROID-xu. I'm using the SD memory to work. With ODROID-xu not have any problems everything is working fine, but with the ODROID-u3 can not be the monitor image.

the video cable that I'm using and micro-HDMI / DVI.

I downloaded from various images of Odroid-u3 and made the copies to the SD. Not got success. Visual indications are the red LED and blue LED access flashing. When booting the first blue LED is a bit off, then comes on strong and blinks. The red LED is always ON.

Regrads,

Marco Aurelio
