this seems to be a really nice image you provided, but maybe a bit much minimalist for me ^^
i try to replace my server, an atom laptop with a U3 that is more powerfull.
some feedback / issues i can encounter :
- the kernel-update and odroid-utility.sh seems to not work. (aka no reboot possible behind)
- resize.sh works well
- /lib/modules/188.8.131.52/build symlink is broken i replaced it by doing a new symlink pointing to /home/linaro
- the main issue :
when i try to install dvb drivers and after i corrected the build symlink, i get this :
Code: Select all
* Start building *
make -C /home/linaro/media_build/v4l allyesconfig
make: Entering directory `/home/linaro/media_build/v4l'
make: Entering directory `/home/linaro/media_build/linux'

Preparing to compile for kernel version 3.8.13
You appear to have loadable modules turned off in your kernel. You can
not compile the v4l-dvb drivers, as modules, and use them with a kernel
that has modules disabled.
If you want to compile these drivers into your kernel, you should
use 'make kernel-links' to link the source for these drivers into
your kernel tree. Then configure and compile the kernel.

i don't really know how to interact with the modules, i read that a can enable modules by doing a modprobe, but i prefere to have a confirmation here
have a good day.
