Kernel compilation error

Hi,

I have ODROID U3, running xubuntu-13.10-desktop-armhf_odroidu_20140211 ,
I'm trying to compile custom kernel (3.14), and I'm getting this error:

CC sound/last.o
LD sound/built-in.o
MKDIR firmware/edid
MK_FW firmware/edid/1024x768.bin.gen.S
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `firmware/edid/1024x768.bin', needed by `firmware/edid/1024x768.bin.gen.o'. Stop.
make: *** [firmware] Error 2

there is nothing on the net about it,
I hope you guys can help me with it.

You should use odroid-3.8.y from our github to build it.

But I need to compile version 4.1.3 kernel and add litmus-rt patch. Is that possible?

I asked hardkernel directly if this issue had been resolved and they told me to ask again in the forum. I am hoping that is possible on the U4 or some comparable hardkernel device. Has the above issue been resolved or is compiling Litmus-Rt on this device still a hard no 6 years later?
