Post by robroy »

Now that the new ODROID-GO Advance is available and shipping, we have a couple of great articles to accompany it in this month's magazine. If you're looking to do some ODROID-GO Advance performance analysis, Joy Cho's guide to ARM Streamline is a great place to start. For the ODROID-XU4 we have several articles you'll be interested in, from setting the optimal IRQ CPU affinities to selecting the best media OS for your XU4 setup. All this and many more terrific articles in this month's magazine which you'll surely want to check out.

There are some issues with the code apparenly nearly everything in tags <...> was removed. Which is very inconvenient if you're using XML which basically lives of this :D
I hope @robroy can fix the code in the article.

well not much, except you need to know what's in the tags and not just the value of the tag as it is right now ;)

The ODROID-GO Advance article has been updated to show the pictures of the scientists who ran the performance tests

There is a quirk in Wordpress in that it won't render < > and < /> tags as plain text, even with <pre> formatting and a special plugin, so it is necessary to add a space inside the tag, so keep that in mind when copying and pasting the XML.

How about replacing < with &lt; and > with &gt;?

Thats what you were seeing the first time; it makes the tags disappear when rendered inside the WP editor. We use <pre> and/or <code> to mark the code sections, which gets run through an anti-injection filter. Wordpress wants to protect itself against users using that technique to insert <script> tags.

I know! There must be some unicode characters that look exactly like < and > but are sintactically different... Though that would break copy pasting with weird errors :)
