new first-time Odroid user

Post by alverman »

Greetings from Belgium

Just bought an HC1 online.
I have Nextcloud running on a Pi. It works fine but performance is poor.

I hope the HC1 will speed things up a bit.

You can try it out for your confidence, https://maze.odroid.com/index.php/login
This is the server running on ODROID-XU4 which uses the same CPU Exynos5422 and the Nextcloud server is running for users who want to try out the performance. You can log in with odroid / odroidfun.
As long as you don't use the server for any illegal purpose, you can freely use it to check the performance.
FYI regarding to ODROID Bench

Aloha Alverman,

I just purchase a odroid-hc1 with the same project idea to install NextCloud. I am newbie with odroid-hc1 and Linux/NextCloud. Did you have to install a Linux OS before installing NextCloud. If so what Linux OS? How were you able to load or point NextCloud data to the hard drives. Appreciate any scripts or info links allowing data to reside on my hard drive.

Appreciate any help you can provide me....

How do you find nextcloud on the hc1/xu4? There isn't a version of onlyoffice / collabora office for arm 32bit where I see some problems
