Hi to all , been in forum for a few weeks ...

Unread post by atarioldskool » Tue May 15, 2018 7:28 am

Hi all new here ...
well been in the forum for several weeks reading and reading and asking the odd questions
Most probably dumb questions.

I am a total noob when it comes to electronics , and when ever some talks in computer language that’s it it’s gone straight over my head.

However I am pretty good at putting things together, fixing etc I think I’ve got a decent imagination lol,
At the moment like most people I’m hooked on to the idea of a retro games console so I have just purchased all my equipment all running of the xu4. Will be housing it all in an actual retro games console shell
I know the N1 will be coming out soon but I couldn’t wait that long

1 of the main reason I decided to buy the odroid is because of this forum, the minute I posted a few questions I got answers straight away, guys are so helpful in here especially mr odroid
So I have no doubt I have made the right choice and will need all of your help as like I said I am a total noob when it comes to programming / commands etc
Putting things together no problem just the computer language baffles me!

Did you see this?

I haven't seen you ask any question that could be misconstrued as dumb ;)

I am guessing you will be using an Atari 2600 with simulated woodgrain for your case? I got a 2600 in 1980 and played it way too much.

No I haven’t, just briefly checked it out and wow that’s pretty cool.

Yes your correct I will be housing it in the Atari 2600 woody but I want to try keeping it original as possible,
So no fancy screen or usbs at the front,

Can’t wait for my stuff to arrive yippy!
