Invalid Keys from apt-get

Post by shaund@teqcle.co.za »

Hi all.
I get the following error from a fresh install of either mate or minimal and I try to run apt-get update:
Err:6 http://deb.odroid.in/c2 bionic InRelease
The following signatures were invalid: EXPKEYSIG 5360FB9DAB19BAC9 Mauro Ribeiro (mdrjr) <mauro.ribeiro@hardkernel.com>
I have tried to import the key with the following commands:
root@odroid:~# wget -qO - https://deb.odroid.in/c2 | sudo apt-key add -
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.
root@odroid:~# wget -qO - http://deb.odroid.in/c2/dists/bionic/Release.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.

Can somebody please help?

Kind Regards.
Shaun.

Is there a way that I can ignore this?

Hello !

The key used to sign the packages expired!

This command will update the keys! Please let me know if it fixes.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys AB19BAC9

I see the new key expires in 2036. With a bit more planning you could have sync'ed it with the Y38k bug

I've tried on myodroid C2, but with no success:

Code: Select all

odroid@myodroid:~$ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys AB19BAC9
Executing: /tmp/apt-key-gpghome.s3s461g6dD/gpg.1.sh --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys AB19BAC9
gpg: keyserver receive failed: Server indicated a failure

Code: Select all

uname -a
Linux myodroid 3.16.78-48 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Dec 5 07:27:42 -02 2019 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux
