Hello!
My touchscreen doesn't work with Android, but works in Ubuntu or other systems (Windows, Raspberry).

VID: 0x0eef
PID: 0x005

Vendor D-WAV

I saw this info exist in Github's repo for n2 kerner source.
I want to use Android 9 on my C4 board.
Can I build a kernel, using n2 source or lineageOS?

Did you try to change "disable_vu7=true"?
Please edit /odm/env.ini from 'disable_vu7=false' to 'disable_vu7=true'.

If you want to try your touchscreen, edit /internal/boot.ini.

Code: Select all

setenv test_mt_vid "056A"
setenv test_mt_pid "509D"

Show me your boot.ini or attach your boot.ini here.

Other person have tried crossover mutitouch as yours with ODROID-N2 and it worked after edit boot.ini[env.ini].

Please edit /odm/env.ini from 'disable_vu7=false' to 'disable_vu7=true'.
This worked a treat for me. I changed it in env.ini and boot.ini and now my D-WAV screen with 0eef / 0005 has the touchscreen facility working.

Thanks a lot Codewalker :)

Hi, Tiger.
You can test by yourself first.
Please, try to edit /odm/env.ini.

Code: Select all

121 test_mt_vid="1FD2"
122 test_mt_pid="6103"
If you tell me your test result, I will include your request in the next update.

Unfortunately, we can't support the old U3+ board due to our limited resources.
Sorry about that.

This seems to be a resistive type touch screen and our Android platform can't support it.

I have an Odroid C1+ board. The touch screen I want to attach is a WaveShare 7" resistive touch screen. It has an XPT2046 Controller. It is suppose to be 1024 X 600. It has a micro USB plugin, but when I plug it in it does not show up on my Linux computer. The micro USB plugin is labeled power only. So I can't get a VID or PID. When the display is attached to the Odroid, the Hardkernel screen appears. After that all I get is vertical line.
