Im trying to get my Oroid-X to work, but i cant find an image which works on my device.
No image seems to work. Can someone tell me which image works on my device.
Thats how I tried to write the image on SD-Card or emmc module:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/xxx
xzcat file.img.xz | dd of=/dev/xxx bs=1M
sync
i tried the following images:
ubuntu-14.04.2lts-lubuntu-odroid-x-20150224.img.xz
Ubuntu-13.04_DreamMachine-X-HDMI.20140101.img.xz
xubuntu-13.04-desktop-armhf_odroidx_20130502_with_HDMI.img.xz
LED D4=ON
LED D6=ON is blinking 2 times... and so on
or
LED D4=ON
LED D6=ON not blinking
Can someone tell me please which image is the newest working one.

Try just extracting the image first and then just running dd? - Instead of piping.

I normally do piping as well it should work fine.
The Ubuntu image from HardKernel or images from my repository http://oph.mdrjr.net/meveric/images/
should be the newest images available for the ODROID X.
if the LED 6 is blinking 2 times and keeps doing so, that means the kernel booted up and is working correctly. It might be that your TV is just not showing it correctly.
Can you try: http://oph.mdrjr.net/meveric/images/OGS ... sie.img.xz
And see if there's any output?
The image uses 720p as a default resolution, which should work for "most" TVs/Monitors.
What kind of TV/Monitor do you have connected and what's it's default resolution?

Try to connect the USB connector frame and HDMI connector frame just for test.

The HDMI-cable seems to work now. I had not used the device for 2 years, maybe there was some dirt or something like that. Now it works fine. Im trying the 14.04 image, the old 13.04 is deprecated and apt-get gives an 404 Error.
Thank you for the support for this old device : )
