[WIKI] Suggestions and Issues
Hey folks!
Just a few notes on the WIKI.
I'd like to suggest a "Make/Prepare SD Card" section to the Wiki under [getting_started].
I think this should include the ROMS file structure for download and provide some info for first-time users. i.e. "there is no need to flash firmware to the SD Card as it is already preinstalled on the device's eMMC".
Additionally, I think there should be a note to users to backup saves should they update the firmware as this wipes the saves folder and may result in unnecessary frustration from users.
Also, I'd like to suggest that under [Odroid_go_ultra] the "transferring game ROMs" link be changed to the above-suggested addition. Currently, the link redirects to here https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_advan ... _game_roms the OGA portion of the Wiki, which is confusing as it refers to a process that is not relevant for this device.
The same is true of the "Forced SD Boot Mode" link which also redirects to the OGA section. This too is confusing and should perhaps be amended to a separate page regarding the OGU. Alternatively, a note could be added that the process is the same but that the button should be depressed until the device has booted. In my experience merely pressing it didn't trigger this process instead it had to be held.
I don't see the proposed section regarding updating the drivers so that the device can be connected to a windows P.C. via a USB cable.
Perhaps it would be worthwhile describing the process for editing the config file for Emulation Station so that users have the option to change aspect ratios and other settings that are not easily accessible if they so wish.
That's everything I can think of at the moment. I will update if I think of anything else or find any other issues.
As always thank you to the team for all of their hard work!

Re: [WIKI] Suggestions and Issues
In that case, the following text in this wiki page should be changed to "F2 + F5". Right?
https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_ultra ... d-go_ultra
https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_ultra ... d-go_ultra
Can you please tell me any other wiki pages should be edited? To exit the currently running test mode and go to a next test mode, please use the following Test Exit Key Combination.
OGU : F3 + F6 (Most left and Most right gray buttons)

Re: [WIKI] Suggestions and Issues
Hello all,
I've seen several users struggling with the setup of their OGU's due to some missing info on the WIKI. I'd like to suggest the following changes to help folks get setup.
Firstly:
Under [HOWTO install OS_Image]
https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_ultra ... g_os_image
ODROID-GOU has built-in 16GB emmc.
ODROID-GOU comes with Ubuntu Minimal EmulStation image pre-installed on emmc.
As a result, It is not necessary to flash the image to an SD card. You only need to copy a ROMS file structure and games to your sd card to get started.
This page will show you how to install a new version of the OS or restore emmc .
Secondly
The "Transferring game ROMs" link on this page https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_ultra/odroid_go_ultra. redirects to here https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_advan ... _game_roms
The redirected page is for the OGA which instructs users to flash their sd card. (Incorrect for this device). It creates significant confusion and as such should be changed to a page specific to the OGU.
I hope these points are helpful, please let me know if you need any further info or would like me to help with the setup of a new "Transferring game ROMS to OGU" page with correct instructions.

Re: [WIKI] Suggestions and Issues
I've updated the First one as you suggested. https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_ultra ... g_os_image
Right. I fully agree that the wrong redirection always causes painful experience for ROM file transferring.
Please make a new forum topic about an easy and understandable way and we will make a new WiKi page based on your post.
Really appreciate your kind suggestions and supports.

Re: [WIKI] Suggestions and Issues
The key map text on the recovery mode image is wrong.

This image will be changed to [F2+F5=REBOOT] in the next update if possible.

Re: [WIKI] Suggestions and Issues
i wish the ODROID GO ULTRA had a bigger D-pad and ABXY buttons. The function buttons need to be harder too not that mushy ones from OGA days. Kindly give us the option to mod this Piece of engineering Art. I want to love and buy the OGU but the dpad and buttons look so small and has bad quality (i know this because i own a OGA)

For what it's worth these are not the exact same buttons and dpad as the OGA. The membranes are easily customisable if you prefer a different feel. Personally I have no qualms with the dpad and buttons on the OGU and I've played through several games without issue.
