WiFi 5BK under 22.04 Jammy

Post by itsborken »

I performed the netboot install of Jammy 5.18 but am having issues getting the WiFi 5B or 5BK working with the kernel. dmesg shows the module is detected on plugin
Installed the rtl8821cu-dkms to build it for 5.18.00odroid-arm64 but it says the linux-headers-5.18.0-odroid-arm64 isn't supported. Is there something else I should load to be successful or is there a fix on the horizon? Bluetooth is showing devices but I haven't tried file xfers yet.

Regards
John

Is there a timeframe where the M1 will be updated to Jammy like the other Odroid boards? Not just to network install via cable but to also function with the wifi hardware sold by Odroid?

Hello,
Has this issue with the wifi 5BK usb dongle connected to the odroid-m1 been solved. I'm having the same issue. I posted on the following threads and assistance seems to have dried up.

The full dmesg output can be found here. https://pastebin.com/YSE2FwTY

In the settings panel, there's no switch to enable bluetooth.

Any insight as to how else to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
