I created a new user via command line, and can't log into gdm. So I created a new user via gui, and still can't log into gdm. Just returns to the long in screen.
Anybody else created a new user, and able to log in?

Check what groups the new user belongs to. Compare with the odroid user and adjust (
id odroid)-

I actually did that, and added sudo and audio. As I was replying, I wondered if I should also add the odroid group as well. I did that, but nothing changed.

What's the version of your Ubuntu and how did you install it, Netboot Installer or flashed preinstalled OS image?
