@tobetter,
Hope this finds you well. Could I request that support for the Odroid 3.2" and 3.5" LCD panels be added to the Debian 11 (20220128 - Linux kernel v5.15) and Ubuntu 22.04 (20221115 - Linux kernel v5.15) images at http://docs.linuxfactory.or.kr/install/ ... image.html Specifically, I've looked at both of these images and they are apparently missing the needed kernel modules or overlays compared to the officially HK 4.9.y kernel. Thank you in advance.
At the same time, could CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION be set to y(es) in any new kernels as per my previous request at viewtopic.php?t=38846
Lastly, I would appreciate your input if the display set up for the C4 is different from what was/is described here:
https://wiki.odroid.com/legacy/accessor ... d/c4/start
Cheers and thank you in advance,
Halocaridina

Re: 3.2" and 3.5" LCD support in Debian and Ubuntu
The problem of such LCD panel with upstream is not about missing kernel module, it's about SPI interface which does not yet well. Due to the lack of demand, it is in the lower priority but let me see again.halocaridina wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 10:11 am@tobetter,

I can add it.At the same time, could CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION be set to y(es) in any new kernels as per my previous request at viewtopic.php?t=38846
It would be more similar but as I replied above, we can talk later when SPI issue is resolved.Lastly, I would appreciate your input if the display set up for the C4 is different from what was/is described here:

@tobetter
Thank you for the quick rely and additional details on the LCD situation. I would hope the situation with the SPI interface of newer kernels would perform on par or better then the HK 4.9.y kernel. Would you happen to have link(s) to materials/discussion on the SPI interface situation?
Thank you again and looking forward to your response,
Halocaridina
