I.S.O ~ Linux, Ubuntu ARM based G.U.I dtatbas editor

Post by gilray4 »

N4, running Ubuntu 22

I am just getting into databa$e use:

Can anyone suggest a good (open source/freebee):
G.U.I based, database editor as a reasonable facsimile to:
'MysqlWorkbench' ?

As far as I can tell there are no:
Linux, ARM compatible G.U.I database editors ?

All suggestion shy of running wine to support it are welcome :)

N4? My heart stopped for a moment, as if I missed a new Odroid release!

Mysql Workbench is available as platform independent source code, so you could attempt to build it yourself on a target machine. Theoretically this should work, even on ARM.

Wine won't help you run x86 software on ARM machine.

There's always phpMyAdmin, accessible via a web interface/browser, but it's likely too rudimentary, compared to mysqlWorkbench.

More advanced is dBeaver: https://dbeaver.io/download/. Try their arm variant.
