Hello, new here.
Have been wondering which hardware mods are the most common/popular for the Odroid-Go Advance (and/or Black Edition).
For instance I have read more than a few lament the subpar D-pad and buttons and some suggest using GBP ones instead.
I saw a video of ETA saying they work perfectly while others say they don't work as well.
What hardware mods have you imagined/created/tried for the OGA and would you recommend to the rest of us?

Zedlabz silicon pads for the dpad and buttons are a world apart from the stock ones. They take the console from feeling like a home built device to a premium feel console.
Actual button wise I’ve found it’s a matter of where you get them.
Zedlabz only do the dpad and two A & B marked buttons, but work perfectly. Ameridroid do the dpad and four plain non marked buttons, but don’t work well with the zedlabz gameboy pocket pads and you have to trim the buttons to fit.
Personally, I have now resided with the gameboy pocket silicon pads, stock buttons and an aftermarket Sony analog stick.

Wait, you have been able to replace the analog stick?
Could you explain how?
Did you replace the entire assembly, is it a drop-in replacement or did you make it work yourself?

It's the same as the PS Vita, direct replacement.KeyperOS wrote:Wait, you have been able to replace the analog stick?

You mean such as this? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33015375679.html
Also, apparently, buttons/d-pad appear to be hit-or-miss. Is there a "best-bet" option that's preferred?

I replaced the 3000mah battery with a 4000mah (3.7V 5050100) battery and it works flawless =D
About 3-4 hours extended playtime.

Oh, you mean such as this?
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32984546169.html
Did it fit or did you have to modify the case? What did you do for the connection to the board?
Also, did you have any issues with battery shipping?
