Hello,
please provide me with help. I can't get an bootable image on my flash storage. Actually im doing the same like the guide says. So i downloaded the latest img from hardkernel. Mount my flash on the eMMc Reader and stick it in a microsd reader that is connected with my Windows 7 (x64) PC. Than i write the image with diskimager to the storage. After that i mount the flash back to the X2 and all i seem to get is a black screen, red led, blue led and a blue led flashing.
I tried with the official version of diskimager and the custom odroid version. Same results.
I tried two different images.
is there something i do worng or am i missing anything?
Do i need to format the storage before i begin writing the image?
Regards,
Xearo

From what you said about the LED's board is booting fine!
Double check your screen, hdmi cable and don't use any adapters.

I checked the screen and used the jumper with 720p and 1080p. It worked with the "out-of-the-box" image. But i will check with a other screen too.

You need a SD card to install Android into your eMMC module.
Check the instruction in this link.

Ok, i have read that before as well.
I thought it would only be necessary if u havent a eMMC reader and that would be a work around. i will try it that way tomorrow.
Thanks

You can use the reader board to copy huge Linux root file system from your host PC to the eMMC module directly.LordXearo wrote:Sure it works....

Or copy movie clips or a lot of MP3 files directly.
