armbian 버스터 서버 버전에서 apt search 속도가 너무 느립니다.
무슨 문제가 있는걸까요..
다른부분은 대부분 마음에 드는데..
패키지 서칭을 돌리면 보통 10분 20분이 걸리는군요...

Solution is to remove or comment /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/02-armbian-compress-indexes

I deleted it, but it's still slow and there's an apt update problem. TT

This is proper solution - tested right now.

You only need to do this:

Code: Select all

apt install apt-xapian-index

Then monitor with htop or ps that this script finished - check with:

Code: Select all

/usr/sbin/update-apt-xapian-index --update -v

Then it runs in full speed.

First time you need to wait 10+ minutes that index is done ... perhaps reboot is also needed?

For me speed increase was huge. Now it searches instant. (tested with synaptic in desktop)
