You need to flash an OS image freshly into your eMMC module.

Which the switch nob is placed to "SPI" or “MMC" of Boot Select Switch?
If you see "_" blinking of your monitor, it seems that the boot is in progress.
How long have you been waiting since then?
Please refer to the boot sequence in the link below.

Can you see the Petiboot screen on SPI Boot select switch?
I think it's a hardware issue of N2 or the Linux image is burned incorrectly.
Could you tried MicroSD?
If the symptoms are the same on MicroSD, it seems to be a hardware issue of N2.
Contact "odroid at hardkernel dot com" with a URL of this thread.
They will help your RMA if you purchased the board from our web-store directly.
Otherwise, contact your local distributor/reseller.

Re: Factory reset and restore emmc with liunx?
okey, so update.
the seller was at no help at all, he tried the odroid with a new emmc and could enter linux
(my friend was also able to to that. but the error started when he tried to run
sudo apt update and the seller refuse to do that..)
i flashed linux again onto the emmc
and now i was able to enter linux, but when i tried
sudo apt update
i get an error (look at the pictures..)
So i assumed since the seller claims that the odroid itself is working, it must be the eMMc.. so i buy i new microsd card
install the same linux from here, runs it, i get into linux and i get exactly the same errors..
i cant start firefox since it force closes, what to do? i would say the Odroid is broken somehow? and i asked Hardkernel how to claim it on warranty and they say contact seller. and seller says, we are gonna stop reply to you now, cause there is nothing wrong with your odroid

Canonical Ubuntu apt server seemed to be dead temporally.
BTW, did you flash this OS image with Etcher?

Re: Factory reset and restore emmc with liunx?
I've freshly flashed the same image into my 16GB eMMC with Etcher this morning.
"apt update" and "apt upgrade" had no issue while updating a few hundreds .deb packages.
Whole update process took about 15 minutes and rebooted.
I'm running the Ubuntu 22.04.2 + Kernel 4.9.337-31 now without major issue.
I think you might need to check some firewall settings in your network infrastructure.
