hello,
i've tried to put RPI TV Hat onto Odroid C2 and libreelec / coreelec but it does not seems to be working.
Since GPIO are compatible and rpi tv hat has got support drivers in regular libre/core is there anything what can be done in order to get it work on top of odroid c2?

is it even possible?

thanks ;)

It seems to use a hardware SPI.
But there is no HW SPI port on the C2 40pin header and you can't make it work.

Even if there is a SPI port on the C2/N2 board, it will be very difficult to port the DVB raw device drivers.

If you're in the US, you have to realize that the RPI TV Hat only does DVB which isn't used here. We just have ATSC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_television

You might be able to do it with Gnuradio, but probably with something besides the TV Hat as RF hardware. Expect it to waste a lot of CPU. Something from Hauppauge might work but they don't seem very Linux-friendly http://www.hauppauge.com/.
