Raspberry out, welcome Odroid N2+ &CoreElec... &Ambilight ??

Hello community !
I'm a fresh new "Odroid'er", tired of raspberry lack of HDR... ... (You may know the story !)
So, I just order my new Odroid N2+ and will install CoreElec. OK for this part.
As I also upgraded my TV to a 65", I would also like to set ambilight "DIY" with this new Odroid N2+.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to find a fresh nice recent tuto for my N2+ & ambilight
Lot of topics, some with Arduino, some without, some with ws2801 LED hardware stripes, some with WLED (Aircoookie...) ... ... ...

I'm lost ! I dont even know if it's possible to plug a ws2801 LED stripe like with raspberry/GPIO...

So please help me to find THE TUTO or any useful help !

Ideally : how to plug LED stripe to Odroid N2+ + WLED + direct use (NO arduino) should be the ideal setup, for me, if it's working this way in 4K HDR...

We've not seen any direct GPIO driving LED strings for Ambilight.
Since the GPIO toggling time is not accurate on the Amlogic CPU platforms, you probably need to use a cheap($3~4) Arduino Pro micro compatible board.
