Can i Connect USB Headset (logitech) to Odroid-N2 and attend meetings

Post by malli_1729 »

Hi,

Can i connect USB headset(mostly from logitech) to Odroid-N2 to attend meetings.
I see there is no Mic hardware in Odroid-N2 (correct me if i am wrong), whether this combination will work?

Yes, any usb sound card would work.
But, what meeting platform are you using? Make sure it has an arm64 client.
Android should support them too.

I need to use Microsoft teams for meetings. whether it can be in Linux or in Android - currently planning to use Linux.

Teams seems not to support Linux Aarch64 platforms.

Therefore, you might need to consider Android.

I use the application "genuine" MS teams for Linux but its on RHEL8 x86 and Debian 10.4 x86 and really its at best Beta and performs poorly due to authentication bugs. If you can load the snap store? the x86 version on that is better which is ironic, a non-MS verison works better than a MS version. That might work if there is an arm version.

Otherwise there is a web browser version? I have various usb sound cards not tried them yet.

PS I also use a Logitch USB headset and Logitech camera and they are fine with MS teams on RHEL8 x86.
