Hi!

Can someone briefly explain me overlay part of odroid settings (with Android rom), I don't know what it is used for, and if some examples can be given, many thanks!

"Overlay" is to list up the device tree overlay to apply, and the device tree overlay is to modify the hardware features mostly on GPIO headers when one willing to customize. If you do not have any expectation to customize, you can ignore it. Listing in "Overlay" is practically same as modifying overlays= in env.ini.

I needed to play with overlay because vu7c screen need some tweaks in env.ini to work correctly.

So how do I know what difference is between pwm_AB, CD, EF or pwm_backlight?

And, is there a list of available overlays?

Here is list of the overlays.

Not all is work on the android, but most of them work on the android. :)

And, PWM_AB, CD or EF is made work each pwm like A and B, C and D, and E and F.

and as you can see, -> https://github.com/hardkernel/linux/blo ... ht.dts#L16

pwm_backlight use pwm c for it.
