[SOLVED] Android - power on with remote

Post by crowndip »

Hello,

i have Odroid N2+ with latest official 32 bits Android. I have a remote that works nice. It is a cheap chinese air mouse with keyboard on the other side. It has an IR and also a small USB rf receiver.
When i press the power button, Odroid goes to sleep. Then i am unable to power the Odroid back. Possibly the IR is sending something else than expected. How can i fix it in Android?

You can avoid system go to sleep.
edit /odm/env.ini
prevent_sleep="1"

If you can't find prevent_sleep, You must upgrade your android system.

First, migrate from 32-bit to 64-bit android. but if you've installed GMS(Play Store), you can't do that. Reinstall android.

Download update package and update with Odroid Settings.

And One more try to update lastet version.

You can change it from Android terminal, also in your PC if you have eMMC card reader.

I changed prevent_sleep="1" but it is still not fine. When i play a video and hot the power button on the remote, the screen (LG TV over HDMI) immediately goes black but i can still hear video (it sounded a bit distorted). But i cannot get the screen back on.

If i reimage my eMMC to 64 bit Android, will it work?
