Can't run web browsers, after upgrading OS to 22.04

Post by mattbot »

I started out with the official Ubuntu 20.04 image, on my N2+. As far as I recall, this seemed to work okay. Then, I upgraded to 22.04. After that, I get the following errors, when I try to run chromium (or similar, for firefox):

Code: Select all

cannot perform operation: mount --make-slave /tmp/snap.rootfs_EinP3m/etc/nsswitch.conf: Permission denied
Any ideas? I've been regularly installing updates, since the upgrade. Overall, the machine seems to work okay. It sounds like a general problem with snap-based apps, but these are the only two I've tried.
