Home folder encryption (and swap file if possible)

Does anyone know if it is possible to encrypt the home folder and the swap-file (if possible)

I cant download the ecrypt utils etc on my installation so Im wondering if its possible and how to do it?

What ecrypt utils are not downloadable? Do you have the command and the logs when you try to download or install them?
What OS version do you use? Please share the exact OS name or OS distribution that you want to install.
