g++ -m64 command line option not recognized

Unread post by BKFC » Tue Apr 16, 2019 6:22 am

I'm trying to build a personal library on an N2 (Ubuntu) using g++, and I'm getting the following error:

g++: error: unrecognized command line option '-m64'

I realize this may not be needed, but I would have to remove it from many Makefiles. I've heard that there are march or mcpu flags that fix this. Is that right?

-m64 is only valid for x86_64 processors, not arm64 processors.
