Does the H2 support CEC? Will it ever?

We should add an expensive micro-controller IC near the HDMI circuit because this Intel SoC has not native CEC function.
So we have no plan at this moment since the extra cost for implementing the CEC feature is relatively quite high.

I actually ordered the H2 instead of an Asrock J4105 motherboard because I had read somewhere that the H2 has built in CEC-support.
I was quite sad to learn that it isn't actually the case...

Now I'm trying to figure out if I should buy a Pulse Eight CEC adapter or if I should try and find a cheap USB IR receiver and hope that I can get that to work with the same remote.

The problem with a ir receiver would be that the ir signals will be interpreted by the tv as well - you might get symbols on screen that an action is not supported by the tv.
