x86 sounds strange in relation to Armbian, yeah
But on the other hand its a well polished Ubuntu / Debian system without Canonical fingerprinting. I always wanted to ditch Debian / Ubuntu on my x86 hw. But its pretty much an image with embedded philosophy - there is no proper installer (yet) so you need to either run it from USB or DD to internal nvme / sata media.-

AMDian sounds better since my Android build server was powered by AMD Threadripper.
