WOL with kernel 5.11.0-22

I use the kernel 5.11.0-22 unter ubuntu 20.04and i canot activate WOL.

What you need to help me????

i have make a test with this article: https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid-h2/appli ... ake_on_lan but it dont works.

Was there any strange message or dmesg outputs when you start wol@.service?

What is result from the following commands?

Could you wake it up by pressing the power button on your H2+ board?

I've used Kernel 5.8 since 2021 Feb when Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS point release appeared.
I don't know how you installed Kernel 5.11.
Are you running Ubuntu 21.04?

also 5.11 kernel ist gekillt, wol funzt aber nur wenn ich das magicpacket unter 30 sekunden nach dem einschlafen schicke danach nicht mehr.

We will try reproducing the issue on Ubuntu 20.04.2 stock kernel 5.8.0.

We freshly installed Ubuntu 20.04.2 desktop image with r8125 9.005.06 driver.
WoL works well even we injected wake-up code 5 minutes later after entering into the suspend mode.

It is really hard to know why the WoL doesn't work after 30 seconds on your system. :(
Please consider reinstalling OS to narrow down root causes.

I have no idea indeed.

Edit: One idea.
Try measuring voltage of the coin battery with a DMM after moving it from your H2.
It must be higher than 1.8Volt at least.
But, there is no high confident if the backup battery really affects the WoL functionality or not. :|
