Gameboy Camera

Would it be possible somehow to adapt a camera (maybe ESP camera?) to the Odroid GO and use it as a gameboy camera?

A hardware implementation seems possible since the camera has a 128×128 pixel CMOS sensor, and can store 128×112, grayscale digital images using the 4-color palette of the Game Boy system.
But I have no idea if the GB/GBC emulators has properly supported the Gameboy camera or not.

There is no camera support in the emulator that I know of. It would need to be added first.

The emulator GBCC on Android has such support and it works so at least in theory would be possible.
