Do I need to add new folders for the TG16 and Lynx roms, and if so, what names should they have?

I added "lnx" and nothing shows up in the UI.

I added "pce" and while I did get a list of the roms in the folder in the UI, attempting to run any of the games caused the system to reboot.
You can check out our skeleton sd card
Additionally, the latest release with In Launcher Volume Control.

Okay, wow. This is amazing. I am still having a little bit of trouble, though. I've populated every rom directory, and I noticed that when I scrolled over to the Spectrum roms, the device restarts. 2600 roms just aren't showing up at all.

Great Firmware and probably the best launcher for the OdroidGo. I would like to see this getting updated as time goes on.
Having said that, I have also problems with my large rom folders. Some don't show up at all (Spectrum) and some make the firmware reboot (2600 and SMS).

Any pointers for us on getting 2600/Spectrum/SMS working correctly? See the two posts above.

Why my Odroid Go cant read the SD Card, I have some games saved in the card. Sometimes the device reads the card sometimes cant found it. I have some Atary Lynx and Atari 2600 games saved? Is the problem in SD card or in the device input?

Hi, I have a question about emulators, do they use the same ones as go-play ?, in particular the game boy, because he had problems in emulating certain games, such as GBC Metal Gear which was frozen at take any elevator, another with problems was the Resident Evil Gaiden who did not show the texts or games of Kof 95 and 96 that does not show the power bar and the defeated characters. Another thing I wanted to stress is that the game boy emulator needs to activate the GBC's palettes in classic games and not just those of the supergame boy that are on a single color. There are game boy emulators that in similar spending are similar, free and better; That's all I hope you take into account what I mention. Thank you

Did you add a Commodore C64 Emulator, too?
I believe i should have enough room to add it.
Just need to do a little more testing and adding the in game menu

my partition table ends at 0x9E000 which is 10357624 bytes with 4197240 (0x400000) dedicated to data_0

Code: Select all

Well while you're at it, do you have enough space to allow larger rom list?
Because many of us asked for it already but we must not be interesting enough because you never answered us...

Sorry for the delay
We release today v.2.2

A few thing have been address from our issue list
Lynx, NES Interlacing and more

Biggest Feature in the latest release is the ability to manage favorites.
This may be a first in the Odroid Go Launcher community. Let me know if that statement is incorrect

I wanted to say thanks for the lightning fast response to the Lynx bug, and the addition of Favourites is so very cool. Thanks so much - there are lots of us that still use our ODroid Go machines and we're very grateful for the hard work.

Awesome UI and Launcher. I'm up to date I believe on everything, but the artwork is not showing up. Does the artwork folder title need to be:

1. romart
2. romart #

Admittedly I've tried both and neither are working. I get the placeholder of "no preview available" for every game. I have my games in sub folders per emulator, but have pulled some out to see if that was the issue, but still no joy. The games are fairly standard (Tetris, Zelda, etc..) so the artwork is nothing extraordinary.

I have another Odroid Go with different firmware and the artwork package and that one does work.

Any thoughts?

The wiki uses Mardown for the code block
It's just romart

So just to update what my issue was. I did not realize the name of the rom needed to match the name of the artwork for that rom exacly. Once I did that everything worked as planned.

Thanks!

Someone else on the forum mentioned we can play Intellivision roms by converting them to Gameboy Color file format gbc.

Has anyone else tested this? I can't test it myself currently as my Odroid Go is still on its way to me.

If it works, can we create a separate rom folder on Retro ESP32 for Intellivision?

I'm the one who tested this and it does work.

There isn't a separate Intellivision emulator, the Intellivision roms show up in the Game Boy emulator list.

I named any Intellivision rom with "(INT)" added to the end of the filename so I would be able to tell which were Intellivision and which were Gameboy.

When you launch an Intellivision game it runs in the Gameboy Color emulator (even though it was launched from the Gameboy list).

I'm not sure if making an INT tom folder would work since they need to be accessed from the GB list/folder.

Is there anyway to control the scrolling so that it scrolls per page rather than continuously when using the d-pad?
