Odroid-Go/Esplay Micro clone discovered in a GBA shell

Post by Cralex »

Hey all. I recently saw an ESP32-based handheld for sale on ebay being housed in a Gameboy Advance shell. Upon taking it apart, the PCB is labeled as "ESP_GBA-WY-V1.0-20220830" and it also includes a wechat QR code, although I haven't gotten around to creating an account and seeing who's on there. It seems to be directly related to another Odroid-Go descendant, the Esplay Micro V2, as the Retro-Go port I'm working on works as-is with only changes to the button mapping needed. Anyone know the history of this board? It feels to me like it was made by someone that cares about handheld gaming.
