Drive Bay Spacing

Unread post by hominoid » Mon Mar 26, 2018 12:35 am

It's a simple thing but I hadn't heard anyone mention it, the spacing for the case will not fit a 9mm drive or larger.

I changed my spacers to 20mm for both bays so a 15mm 2.5inch drive could fit with room for screws and ventilation. Note that with this configuration you can now plug the 40pin GPIO cable in without interference.
10TB NAS anyone...

Right. We had to consider 15mm thick HDDs as well as the screws!
