Can you please point me to that specific file. The only config file I know, which is /etc/cloudshell2-m*/cloudshell2-m*.conf
I couldn't find the option to only disable HDD temperature monitoring. Only option there is to turn off the LCD on schedule and allow the HDD to spin-down then LCD is off. And I would like to have LCD always running not showing HDD temp though because temperature monitoring doesn't let HDD to spin down

What version are you running? I could be mistaken as I've not used this in a good while.

That's not only the temperature monitoring which prevents the HDD's to not spinn down, it's also reading the status of the RAID-Controller which prevents it, you can try to turn the LCD off via the config file and turn on the LCD backlight again with the wiringPi tool https://github.com/hardkernel/wiringPi I think you will find some examples in the forum to turn off and on the LCD with it, in that case the cs2 monitoring tool will not collect data from the RAID-Controller and therefore the HDD will spin down.n3rs wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 10:13 pmCan you please point me to that specific file. Maybe I will release a new version of the tool that does that with an extra switch inside the config file.

Re: LCD Display Info and Monitoring Tool + Kodi install
I had to reload my cloudshell-2 have Ubuntu Linux 22.04.3 running on it now.
When I went to install this I get a modprobe FATAL error:
Got 2 8TB WD hard drives in it and I don't think it's doing RAID I want it so the 2nd 8TB is a copy of the other one.
So if I could get this installed the LCD should show if it's in RAID or not.

When I went to install this I get a modprobe FATAL error:
Code: Select all
root@cloudshell-2:~# sudo modprobe fbtft_device name=hktft9340 busnum=1 rotate=270 speed=30000000
modprobe: FATAL: Module fbtft_device not found in directory /lib/modules/5.4.253-426
root@cloudshell-2:~#
So if I could get this installed the LCD should show if it's in RAID or not.

Re: LCD Display Info and Monitoring Tool + Kodi install
Got it working I guess picked a old OS text that's why did not install.
I think I my of installed some things 2 times.
Because now it shows the display but about every 3 sec. It clears it and redraws it.
Is this the way it works of did I do something wrong?
