Is the sdd /dev/sda or /dev/sdb ? This constellation is also interesting for me because I never tested this

    SSD is /dev/sda
I notice something that can not confirm now 100%
If I start cs2 with lcd off i think i notice that hdd spindown but I must check this to be 100% sure.

    EDIT:
I can not be sure for this above.
Sometime hdd spindown and sometime wont spindown when lcd is off.

    But I notice something strange.
After one reboot SSD become dev/sdb and HDD become/dev/sda.
After rebote SSD become again dev/sda and HDD become /dev/sdb.
    How to fix this?

See if there are calls to smartctl, and if yes, try adding -d sat to its parameters. Note that periodic calls to smartctl can keep your disks spinning.

Maybe to return from Bridge Firmware Version: v158.1.0.4 to Bridge Firmware Version: v158.1.0.1.
Bridge Firmware Version: v158.1.0.1 can work with smart and maybe hdparm will work wit this FW?

I found post about new FW:
    viewtopic.php?f=147&t=30489&p=272906#p272906
Is safe to use this FW or not?

    EDIT:

One thing I can definitely confirm:
    - if the OS is on sd card then hdd goes into the spindown without any problems.
If the OS is on ssd (sata channel0) then it prevents hdd from going into spindown.
I think for some reason, the firmware does not seem to control the sata channels separately.
Or "error" is on cloudshell2 board?
My primary idea was to have the OS on an SSD, seem to have to give it up and have the OS on the sd card.
I also seem to have to put hdd on sata channel0 and ssd on sata channel1 so I get smart data for hdd.

If i put ssd (whit OS) on sata channel1 is there any chance that hdd on sata chanell0 will spindown?
I think if system check activity and another things (smart) only for sata channel0 then maybe will allow hdd to spindown even if os running on sata channel1.

    EDIT:
This worked until the lcd turned on for the first time.
After that it doesn't work anymore.
There seems to be something in the LCD Display Info and Monitoring Tool settings that keeps the hdd awake after first lcd wake up.

No it should be the other way around, channel 1 should work for OS specific spin down, channel 0 should work with RAID controller spin down but I am not sure about that, you have to test it, I didn't test this constellation

See my EDIT for the post above.
I don't know the reason for that behavior.
If the solution is to completely turn off the lcd how to do it?
I would definitely like the tool to control the temperatures and turn the fan on and off as needed.

After some changes in cloudshell2-monitoring.conf (set all to default) spindown again work for hdd after lcd is off.

I have noticed that sometimes devices change places after start / restart:
hdd is sometimes /dev/sda and sometimes /dev/sdb
The same happens for ssd and usb flash memory.
Can hdd, for example, always be /dev/sda?

Luckily I didn’t notice that this prevents the hdd from going into the spindown.
I think it was important for spindown that the hdd is on the sata channel 0 and that in cloudshell2-monitoring.conf this option does not change:
      # Unique mount point or device path to show the hard disk space from, i.e if you are using an complex LVM config

Probably a drive that was connected to USB ? USB flash drive or something and then after boot RAID controller was /dev/sdb ? If yes then this is the reason, I don't know a solution for this but for sure it can be configured somewhere, my solution would be not to boot with USB drive connected
