24 July 2020.
With a bunch of us having a bit of free time on our hands lately due to CV, I found the little C1(+) in the drawer and decided it's time for a long overdue update.
I'm really surprised how quick the C1 still is, especially when used with eMMC storage.
Just a brief rundown of the limitations of the AMLogic S805 when used for Kodi:
- it only has an 8-bit HEVC/H265 hardware decoder ->>
- so for problem HEVC files check they are not 10bit with MediaInfo program: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
- video output is Max. 1080p
- audio is 2.0 PCM, 5.1 Dolby Digital & 5.1 DTS
Recommended flashing software is the excellent Etcher:

Enjoy !

- Adjust Display Refresh is automatically set to Start/Stop for auto refresh switching.
Known Issues:
The C1 / S805 is a bit slow to smoothly S/W decode h264 with the Kodi Netflix Addon
