You didn't apply correctly the fix on moonlight.sh, as /sys/class/video/disable_video is still set to 1.

Please change the moonlight.sh as stated BEFORE and then run:

Code: Select all

systemctl restart script.moonlight
Then retry starting moonlight.
So, I checked the moonlight.sh and disable_video still returns 1. FYI I need to launch Moonlight in terminal because launching it in Kodi always asks for pairing and then fails. I can echo disable_video to fix the black screen but there's no sound.

Please follow all steps described by alex240188 in the mentioned post.
As he wrote:
3. Moonlight.script does not use the settings.xml stored in addon.data which gets set from within the add-on.
Instead manually put your settings into settings-default.xml in the main add-on directory.
So you need to set your setting in that file.

Launching moonlight from command line will completely ignore the moonlight.sh file

Yes, I edited settings-default.xml. How can I fix launching Moonlight in Kodi? I suppose, it has never worked.

It works fine for me pairing.
I think it failed the 1st time, then worked everyone after that.
If your launching via SSH. Add -audio plughw:0,0 to the string.
E.g.

Code: Select all

moonlight stream -app "Rocket League" -1080 -fps 60 -codec h265 -audio plughw:0,0

It works very well :)

May I ask you, would you be so kind to include Python3 in a next release?
As I mentioned several times already, I'm working on making hyperion.ng working, and I did! But it requires Python3.
I've compiled your leia16 and add Python3 to the OEM package.mk and hyperion.ng works flawlessly.

(I'll be doing a PR on your Github with hyperion.ng update, in case you want to include it.)

Thank you in advance

Well... I thought so also but it is not. Python 3 is in PKG_DEPENDS_TARGET of hyperion.ng, but it is not installed in your image.
You can easily check, it is not present under /urs/bin/python3.6 or /urs/lib/python3.6.

Is it because hyperion.ng is an addon?

What would you suggest as a best way to include this in your release?

@Raybuntu - is there any chance to add usb otg modules (mass storage module)?

Everything works just great but I would like to use C2 not only as a player but also to record from my TV without need to connect HDD to it. Since I already power C2 off the USB from TV through USB OTG port I was thinking that it could work as a drive using my NFS share on NAS server. Only thing I'm missing are modules in this compilation.

To be exact it is "CONFIG_USB_MASS_STORAGE" this one configured as a module.

Would be great if you could add that in later releases :)

Thank you.

Hi,

Does someone use libreto to play some N64 and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games? Does it work?
I can't find any N64 emulator in Raybuntu's repo, and the Sega ones crash :/

Okay, thanks for the info. I dug out my odroid and installed the img. Everything seems to work so far, but pvr startup is delayed for a minute or so. Any chance we're ever going to get passthrough audio on live streams back? I really dislike PCM.

Just tried rb18 and have seen a small issue. I bound ctrl-f11 to a remote key in keyboard.xml to trigger a "change input" script. The script works fine, but I think a change with one of the recent builds is popping up the Power Menu when I press ctrl-F11. Is there some new change with a recent build that might do this? It doesn't happen with my Milhouse testbuild (1203) on my RPi2 , just the C2.

Edit: just had another thought...I use a flirc, but perhaps the C2 is also picking up the key press from the remote and processing it. It's late here so I'll try disabling the onboard IR tomorrow.

are this commands still necessary or even possible with the new leia builds to get a new RGB colorspace setting for those with problem Philips TV like me ?

Code: Select all

echo 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/output_rgb

Code: Select all

 echo "echo 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/output_rgb" > /storage/.config/autostart.sh

New build. Please remember to update your addons. Kodi API changed so some addons may bet disabled by default on first boot. You need to install updates from my repo and re-enable
those disabled binary addons (inputstream.adaptive).
There are a few kodi patches I included from afl1 and adamg to improve video playback (hopefully).

Hello,

thanks much for leia20!

Tested it yesterday with tvh live tv, and i think the video quality has improved with the new kodi patches that raybuntu added.
on some channels i had sometimes slightly jerky viodeo quality before (e.g. Sport1+HD), with leia 20 that jerkyness is not there anymore :-)

will test further, but on first sight, the patches from afl1 and adamg seem to improve video quality.

Cheers,

Max

New build:

-Caretaker Addon preinstalled. It detects malicious repo's or piracy addons and warns the user about it.
It can be disabled.

-DVB Driver Addons from @CvH.
If you need additional Crazy Cat DVB drivers you need to enable the addon:
http://cvh.libreelec.tv/LibreELEC/9.0_L ... ddons.mp4

I wish everyone happy holidays and a happy new year.

Currently on build 20 and I've just noticed that 3d detection is not working at all.
Can't say when it broke as I don't have many 3d films.
When I play a SBS film. It doesn't ask how I want to view it.
Even manually setting it to 2d/monoscopic in playback settings doesn't effect it.
Almost like it isn't even detecting it as a 3d film.
Has the naming scheme changed?
Currently labeled as xxxxxxx.3D.SBS.mkv which always used to work

Edit
I've modified the header off the video track to be identified as a SBS stream.
Thankfully kodi now gives me 3d options once I start playback and pull up the osd.
It still doesn't prompt which 3d mode to enter when starting and doesn't even recognise it as a 3d film. E.g. set 3d mode to 2d in playback settings, but film is just played split screen until going into osd once playback has started and changing it to either a 3d mode or 2d/monoscopic

And a happy New year to all

Hi,

Are there any network restrictions in your Krypton build that block certain network features? How do I disable them?

I'm trying to forward some external notifications in and I can get it to trigger in Kodi on my PC but not on my odroid.

Is anyone else having issues with DTS-HD-HRA (High resolution Audio) since b19 (or so)?
Just noted today that files with DTS-HD-HRA are only recognized as plain DTS by the AVR, but barely audible. It used to work before; all other formats including DTS-HD MA and DTS:X work fine, also Blurays with DTS-HD-HRA work flawlessly... this is only happening on Libreelec.

I have the same issue with 18 nightly on my Android TV since December 23 on, TVHeadend has stuttering every 2 or 3 seconds.

I looked at bug reports and it seems to be known, I didn't know it was happening on LE also.

Thank you for your work, @Raybuntu. I notice since leia21 that I can no longer have 2160p @ 60hz. I have been able to set display at 4k60 up until leia20. Reverting back to leia20 now solves this problem. Hope you are able to correct this. Thanks again.

the link https://github.com/Raybuntu/rb-addons/r ... oid_C2.zip is broken.
I want it to reinstall RB Odroid C2 build.
Thats not necessary. Repo is preinstalled in my builds.

@Raybuntu

In leia21 everything worked just fine, with 22 I have problem with audio. I'm using 2.0 setup with 2.0->5.1 passthrough (HDMI -> TV via HDMI; TV -> sound system via OPTIC). While stored movies in 5.1 works great... after playing 5.1 when I get back to menu sound is distorted, like it was slow down. Playing TV from USB tuner used to work great in 21, right now audio is out of sync in 5.1, if I disable passthrough I get same distortion. If I do not play anyting using passthrough then menu sound and TV work OK with 2.0 sound. Once I turn on passthrough it start to do same until I reboot.

I hope next will be OK, right now going bact to leia21 :)

BTW. Any news about USB Gadget - mass storage?

Just noted today that files with DTS-HD-HRA are only recognized as plain DTS by the AVR, but barely audible. It used to work before; all other formats including DTS-HD MA and DTS:X work fine, also Blurays with DTS-HD-HRA work flawlessly... this is only happening on Libreelec.
Updated to b22, still the same issue.
Doesn't seem to be an issue of LibreElec though and more of a Kodi issue; I found this -> https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/no-audio-wi ... s/40048/17
And here's a link to a German site which also provides a list of movies with DTS-HD HRA -> https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thr ... nprobleme/
Those links - while not providing a solution - talk about the issue starting with Kodi 17.5 and with a Denon receiver, but it happens to my Onkyo also (and as stated before, it used to work in Kodi before and it does work when playing a Bluray).
Here is a test file if somebody wants to give it a try -> http://s1.demo-world.eu/hd_trailers.php ... s-DWEU.mkv
