I found a problem with rb-krypton10, there is no dolby atmos anymore (passthrough) with this build... Everything is perfect with rb-krypton9.

Hi, Raybuntu.

Thanks for the latest builds. I'm trying out the agile-16 and noticed that the jerkiness I was having with SD mpeg-2 content played with the H/W decoder is gone. Excellent!

I do realize it's the agile fork and is alpha but though I would comment on issues I've seen.

Passthrough audio doesn't seem to work with videos with and video with DTS-MA or Dolby-HD (True HD). Here's a log:
http://sprunge.us/jBbJ

I'd keep using the build (with just PCM audio), but I'm also experiencing black screens after pressing stop:
http://sprunge.us/ZNaJ Black screen when stop pressed at: 20:57:11.697. Kodi is still running as I can see keypresses logged. I can also navigate blindly to reboot, but it's a pain.

Thanks!

Audio issues have been fixed by kszaq. No way for me to test since I have no AVR. I will include the fix in my next build.

Super! I hope the black screen on stop is somehow related to the audio issues and gets resolved too.

Cheers.

I've reverted most of the audio fixes cause obviously there were issues with passthrough. But Audio Pops and Delays should gone.

hello,

Thanks for your work Raybuntu.

I just test your last krypton10, and for me the gpio ir don't work.
The IR on board work (with always the same issue with lirc: something we need to plug two times ...), but not a IR on the GPIO.

No way to be able to use hyperion (even with and without arduino as interface). Someone was able to make it work with the v8? I read something about that an specific kernel version is required for being able to use Hyperion but I don't know how to check it. Anyone has any indication to investigate? Thanks in advance!

Hyperion is working fine.
I haven't updated to krypton11 yet, but as of 10 it's still working properly.

Hello Raybuntu,

I tried again the ir-gpio, and it's working!!!!

But, if we disable the menson-ir, that stop working!! And in this case we haven't the option to enable LIRC in the GUI (System > LibreElec > Services). So to use the ir-gpio, the menson-ir must be always enable also.
The Lirc have always the same issue, we need to press two times. With my RP2, that work perfectly.

I try also the NEC protocole (ir-keytable -p nec), because my remote use it. It's impossible to use this protocole with the ir-gpio!
With the mensir-ir, the nec protocole is bad, because some bouton are repeate twice automaticaly!!

In conclution ir-gpio is ok.
The Lirc or the nec protocoles have some problems, like with the others Krypton releases for Odroid C2.

It should be possible to use lirc without meson-ir. Honestly I never tried but here are other users that sucessfully used it.

It may have been fixed in this 64bit build from wrxtasy: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid ... pid2582678

But be aware that this is incompatible with Raybuntus builds. I'd use a second/spare SD-card for testing this, if you plan to.

I do not know what was your approach to fix the issue. Maybe you can try the (hackish) patch in the attachment. The most common reason the video get stuck is when kodi think the decoder have enough data to produce a picture, so stop feed it, but the decoder need more data before it can start decoding, the whole system then hang in the no man's land. For some reason unknown to me this is easiest to happen when you skip back. I just added a counter to detect if the video is stuck, if so then ask for more buffer. A proper fix should probably try to figure out why this is happening, but so far the hack seems working fine on my C2.

I have been trying to make it works several times, even with the internal GPIO SPIDF0.0 etc and nothing, the app appear to be ok (the log shows the hyperion service sending signal, but only for SPIDF not for the arduino usb) but no one light turns on (before with the raspberry it was working like a charm). Which one is the entry that you say for h265? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if you want to take it to a new thread to keep this on topic.

I use my setup via an arduino Uno.
Please provide your hyperion.config.json
And possibly an output of lsusb from SSH.

I might try to write a setup guide if there is any interest

Little teaser: My next build will have media build drivers.
https://mega.nz/#F!N4wy2QYL!wJN6oZ0pRRoXQtMs8bQ0tA
These are previews yet. I'm currently waiting for @codesnake to build a wetek dvb driver to have Wetek Play2 mediabuild support.
Builds are not done yet. I will probably change some things.

Hi guys, sorry for jumping in, but nobody on LibreELEC forums seems to have an idea...

Do these versions support the HiFi Shield Plus ?
I can't find any version newer than the one from January...
It seems that 2 kernel modules are required and are not included anymore (snd-soc-pcm5102 & snd-soc-odroid-dac).

Thanks a lot :)

It should work out of the box. No modules required. Zhe only thing to consider is that you have a simultaneous output with HDMI currently.

Not sure what version you are using I've been testing my HifiShield with krypton10 using the audio jack. But I've had kwiboo's audio patches in back then. I reverted those because partly passthrough was not working.

How can I do to configure them to support the HiFi Shield Plus ?
Or is this version for the DVB adaptors ?

I installed it and I still have no sound output at all.

I think you have to be more patient. HiFi Shield support is still in development. I included support some builds back and reverted. You can try my older krypton10 build to see if it works there. I got audio working over audio jack with that version. I didn't try SPDIF.

1) Have you any problems to download pcm5102 modules? Can I download HiFi Shield modules manual (editing text file)?
2) One more question! Supports Linux Kernel of LibreELEC Krypton/Leia/Agile 64bit ES9018K2M DAC (ES9018C2M,ES9028C2M)?

1.) I never downloaded any modules. Don't know what you are trying to ask/tell. I don't know what manual you are referring. But you should ask HK if you are looking for manuals.

2.) No idea. You have to research it yourself. Find out what driver is used and if it's in kernel 3.14.

But I have quite a lot HEVC files and I don't see any lockups. I agree that if you have lockups it's a bug but I need to find out why to solve it.

i am now having issues with high bitrate samples eg LG Garden demo plays fine in Kodi 16.x but not this image, it just freezes as if the 1Gbps network is not quick enough any ideas ?

Don't think it's limited. But I will test again with my gigabit Network. I also have increased cache in my advancedsettings.xml. I will keep you posted.
