Arduino to C2

Unread postby emzamudio » Mon Feb 05, 2018 8:32 am

I want to send data to an Odroid C2 from an arduino uno since that is what i'm using to connect to various sensors. What would be the best way to go about this? Thank you.

I use a serial port, either via a serial to USB converter to the C2 USB or direct to the serial port on the gpio pins. If you use the USB converter you also need an RS232 to TTL converter and if you use the gpio pins you need a voltage divider to decrease the signal from the arduino 5V level to the C2 3.3V level. I only send data from an ATMega328P to the C2 so I only use the transmit pin on the ATMega328P and the receive pin on the C2. If you need to transmit to the ATMega328P, you will need to have a more complicated bi-directional voltage level converter.

Firmata is a good solution for the communication.
