could be.
seems that this is set because of
setenv vout "dvi"
is uncommented.
can you try to comment it out and boot? if there is going to be no output you can always change it back plugging mmc into other computer, the file is on fat32 partition.

How do I disable overscan? I'm on my TV and Kodi is working fine but the screen is some-what zoomed in...?

overscan should be disabled from the TV menu options, not odroid
