[Solved] Bad voltages

Unread postby selan » Tue Nov 07, 2017 1:17 am

Hello!

I got a c2 few months ago. I used it as personal server with not big charge.

One day without any movement, Odroid shutdown and never reboots. The red led light is very weak, and no blue light blinking. I check also the voltages on the 40 pin and they are wrong. The voltage on the power input is 5V, but not in the pins. I test the powersupply and its ok.

Checking with an electronical friend he said that maybe is a burned capacitor problem, or the "power protector IC" component, that is broken.

Have you any ideas? Is there a possible solution?

Thanks!

Try to bypass the protection IC(NCP372) with a wire soldering.

Refer ODROID-C2 schematics.
